I am a Handsome, Playful, Intelligent & Loyal Doggie!! Hello, my name is Hero. I am a 1-Year-Old Border Collie / Dalmatian mix doggie. My former family did a DNA test - so, yes those are my breeds. I am a very Handsome Doggie who LOVES to be with PEOPLE. I am also very SMART and PLAYFUL too. Keep reading more about me!! Want to MEET ME? My AWESOME Personality! I am a LOYAL and DEPENDENT type of DOGGIE. This means I form a Quick and Strong Bond with the people who show me some kindness. I also LOVE to be with people! I will FOLLOW YOU around the House and will even GREET YOU at the DOOR when you come home. I am such a LOVING DOG, you will find that out quickly once you meet me!! I am a FUN Doggie! I enjoy playing a game of FETCH, or at least enjoy CHASING a BALL if you throw it for me. I will return it to you most of the time, but I do play keep away sometimes too. It is all part of the FUN. Sometimes I will even PLAY with the TOY MYSELF. I will TOSS the TOY in the AIR and try to CATCH IT - how cool is that! More on my FUN SIDE! My former family said that sometimes I will BRING them a TOY, SPIN in a CIRCLE, STOP, and then TAKE a BOW. I will do that OVER and OVER again when I play fetch (sometimes). How cute is that! I am GOOD in the CAR! My foster mom has taken me on a few outings already. I have gone to a Pet Store and a Tractor Supply Store. Both times I was REALLY GOOD in the CAR. I JUMPED IN on my own, and went into a CRATE. I LAID DOWN in the crate and just enjoyed the ride. I LOVED meeting NEW PEOPLE. I was actually WELL BEHAVED as SEVERAL PEOPLE came over to PET ME! I am an ACTIVE DOGGIE! As you know, both my breeds are active dogs. I require at least 1-2 hours of exercise everyday. That being said, I enjoy going for walks (jogs would be ok too), playing fetch, and doing some training (I just started some agility - that is fun). My new family needs to be active and want to do things with me. That way we both can be FIT and HAPPY!! I am an AFFECTIONATE DOGGIE! After exercise, I like to LEAN against my friend and get lots of PETTING. I also enjoy a few HUGS. I am such a SWEETIE PIE. I do LIKE DOGS! I do like to PLAY with Other Dogs. Please note I do like to play rough, so I do best with Medium to Large Dogs. I Enjoy Chasing them and Being Chased. I also like to Wrestle with other doggies! I am a very SMART DOGGIE! My former family said I am both CRATE and HOUSE TRAINED. They taught me SIT. I have only been in foster care for a few days, but I am learning DOWN, COME, SPIN, ROLL OVER and STAY. I am also working on WALKING NICE on LEASH and some BASIC AGILITY commands. It won't take long for me to master all these commands and I hope my new family continues to teach me new things. I am GOOD in the CRATE! My former family said that I SLEEP in my crate. I sleep all night and only fuss if I need to go outside. I also stayed in my crate when my family went to work or had to leave the house. Are You the RIGHT Family for ME? I am looking for a LOVING & ACTIVE Family who will appreciate my GOOD LOOKS, INTELLIGENCE, PLAYFUL SPIRIT and LOYAL/LOVING PERSONALITY. I will do best in a home with ADULTS and/or CHILDREN over the age of 10. I like MOST DOGS, but I am very playful - make sure you dog can handle me! I have also lived with a cat before and did well with him. I am a Healthy Doggie! I am a 46 Pound Doggie who is Healthy, but a bit thin. My ideal weight would be 50-55 Pounds. I am up to date on my vaccinations, heart worm screened, microchipped and I am scheduled to be neutered this week. I will soon be all set to go home with my new family!! My Sad Story! My former family were evicted from their home. Luckily I made my way to All About Animals Rescue where a Foster Family is taking good care of me. My foster family will care for me until a responsible, loving and active home can be found. For More Information!
