I’m a Lab/Mastiff Mix who was given up, through no fault of my own, after 9 years (my birthday is in December and I’ll be 10 years old!) Imagine having to find a new life after 9 years. I was taken to the shelter because my family just didn’t want me anymore. I don’t understand since I’m such a good boy! So now I’m waiting here with lots of friends looking for my new FOREVER family to love! I was a shelter favorite and I’m pretty sure I’m already a favorite with the rescue people here. Let me tell you about me and maybe you will want me as your new best friend! I am an affectionate, sweet, quiet, calm, gentle, and loving boy. I love to be hugged and kissed and just to be be doted on I am housebroken and I ride great in the car. I’m already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. I am very friendly and like everyone and am even good with kids. I ignored all of the other dogs at the shelter and I do the same at the boarding kennel . I don’t have a foster home so until I find one or my forever home I have to stay here. I would need a proper meet and greet with other dogs to make sure they like me and I like them. Don’t know about cats, so for now a home without cats would be best for me. I’m wishing for a new family to love me forever! If you are interested in fostering or adopting me, I sure would love that! You can see me most Saturdays at Petsmart, Utica from 11 am until 3 pm or a personal meet and greet may be arranged with an approved application found below. We show most of our adoptable pets at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday from 11 to 3. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: rescueme93@yahoo.com to see if that pet will be there. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees - Senior : 9 years & up $100-$250 (Price depends on individual circumstances) - Adult : 2 years to 8 years $325 - Young adult : 6 months to 2 years $350 - Puppy : 6 weeks to 6 months $375 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
