Annabelle and Lucy are adorable 1 y/o Shih Tzus who are owner give ups because their mom could not take care of them the way she felt they deserved. Both are sweet tempered, like people and get along with other dogs. They are working on house and leash training and will needs lots of patience and reinforcement. Annabelle ( trio colored) is the more relaxed and cuddly one and Lucy ( whites &tan) is more independent. However she is more worried in new situations. Both girls are an absolute joy. A fenced yard is needed and we would like to see them go together. If you are interested in Annabelle and Lucy, PetSmart, Utica has on site adoptions on Saturdays with a limited number of animals. ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
