Description:
Hocus has been a foster rescue in our home for the last 3 years. He has been a delight to our family and has several fur buddies in the home which includes 3 dogs and 10 other cats. He would do best with a fur buddy (cat or dog) or more. Hocus loves children. Hocus is a 3-year old neutered male, Turkish Van, Short Haired and is up-to-date on all vaccines and tests. Hocus is an escape artist. We outsmart him by checking behind us when going in or out of the house. However, he never strays too far when he is given the chance to outsmart us. Hocus is looking for his forever home. He can be leery of strangers when first introduced but warms up quickly. ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
