Duke is a 1 y/o, devastatingly handsome, heart stealing Beagle who is looking for a new home. He is an owner give up because she couldn't take proper care of him and she wanted to be assured that he would have the best life ever. Then he was returned from his trial adoption because he was not able to be trained to an electric fence, and they loved him so much and wanted him to be safe.. He was too nervous. So he will need a physical fenced yard. This boy is such fun loving sweetheart who will steal your heart. He is a bit of a worrier and and seeks your approval.. He's working on house and crate training and is doing okay. He needs a lot of encouragement and consistency when training but truly wants to please. Duke is also better off if there is another canine companion and an owner who is home a lot. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees Senior : 9 & up $100-$175 Adult : 2-8 $250 Young adult: 6 months to 2 years $275 Puppies: 6 weeks to 6 months $300 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
