She's a 10+ y/o Shepherd Mix who's an inspiration to everyone who meets her with her happy, outgoing, friendly personality that shines like a star. She came into the shelter weak, emaciated and stiff from her arthritis and being on her own. But still her outstanding love of life was evident. After good food, rest, pampering and medication for her "aches & pains" she's doing much better, but she will need to take her medication for life. It's not bad at about $30 a month. Lucille is a senior with plenty of life left in her. She's lively, curious and engages with everyone. She prefers being Miss Social Butterfly to laying on her comfy bed and will follow you anywhere. This girl is no couch potato. If you are interested in this beautiful, sweet, soul and love rescuing, this amazing girl might be for you. Come on up and meet her. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees *Senior : 9 & up $100-$175 *Adult : 2-8 $250 *Young adult: 6 months to 2 years $275 *Puppies: 6 weeks to 6 months $300 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
