But finding a new home is top of the priority list for this beautiful, sweet 6 y/o girl. Sometimes sad situations come up that are no one's fault and beyond anyone's control and we have to do what's best. Cheyenne's mom had her work hours extended and travel time increased and the time alone is too much for her. She's very friendly and wants companionship and the long hours have contributed to her separation anxiety. She has infrequent seizures and the long periods of time alone are not helping. She is on Phenobarbitol and is doing terrific. She gets along with other dogs, don't know about cats and kids. She has lived in a fairly calm and quiet house, but she is very good natured, no food or toy aggresion. She loves walks and lots of love and affection. Car rides are not her favorite pasttime. Cheyenne must have a fenced yard and no long periods of time alone. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees *Senior : 9 & up $100-$175 *Adult : 2-8 $250 *Young adult: 6 months to 2 years $275 *Puppies: 6 weeks to 6 months $300 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
