What we would like for Rusty is a physically secure fenced in yard and another dog so he can get to be more socialized and to learn from the other dog. We appreciate all the attention but we are looking for what we think is best for him. Rusty is a super handsome 1 y/o Doxie with a shy, gentle personality. He's very reserved, but respond well to TLC and patience. He came from a home with too many dogs and may have gotten lost in the crowd, so we would like to find Rusty a home where he can get some quality love time. He is used to other dogs, but a home with not so many that he fades into to background would be perfect. He will make an awesome companion for a variety of families with a fenced yard and time to love him up. Get your application in to foster or adopt this fantastic little guy. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to preapproved applicants only. Adoption Fees *Senior: 9 & up  $100-$175 *Adult: 2-8          $250 *Young adult: 6 months to 2 years $275 *Puppies:  6 weeks to 6 months  $300   Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
