My name is Chaucer, and I am an extremely handsome, 4 y/o (BD 08-2011), small (13 pounds) terrier mix who's super smart and very sweet.   I come from a broken home where he got this and she got that, but nobody could take me. So, now I am looking for a committed family to love and care for me my whole life and give me a home to call my very own.   I'm house trained, get along with other dogs and love my people lots. So I will make a wonderful companion to a variety of homes with a fenced yard and kids over 5.. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ We show most of our adoptable pets at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday from 11 to 3. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to preapproved applicants only. Adoption Fees *Senior: 9 & up  $100-$175 *Adult: 2-8          $250 *Young adult: 6 months to 2 years $275 *Puppies:  6 weeks to 6 months  $300   Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise. MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation,wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
