Description:

Hi!!! My name is Buddy and I'm a 94 # Golden Retriever lap dog. I'm soft, snugly, happy, a 9 y/o friendly gentle giant looking for a new home.

My mom and dad have to move to an apartment where only little dogs can go. I've been with them since I was a baby so this is very hard for all of us and we would like a very special loving home for me.

I'm great with kids, other pets and just about anyone else you can think of. I make friends easily and enjoy belly rubs and lots of attention anytime from anyone. I also love car rides and walks.

I've been an inside dog all my life, and I'm a very good boy, housetrained and everything.

If you want a smiling face to greet you every morning and a friend to spend the day with and a loving companion to curl up at night with, and you don't mind that I'm not a yapping puppy, consider me for your Best Buddy. You won't ever regret it.

The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization.

I will try to be at the Utica PetSmart Adoption Center on Hall Road, east of Van Dyke when we are there. Email or call if you are making a trip and we'll try to make sure I'm at the store. Maybe we could set up a special appointment for you to meet me!

We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.

Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
