I am a handsome, extremely smart and loving 6 y/o Boxer/Shepherd Mix who is sadly in need of a new home.

It's noting I did. I'm a great family dog and a joy to have around. It's just that my dad got a new job and has to travel and my mom is overwhelmed with 3 kids, 4-2- and 1 y/o.

I am a high energy dog who loves to run, jump and play with my family. Now that things have changed, there's not enough time or energy to give me the attention and activity that my mom and dad feel I need and deserve. I would make a great dog for an active family, but I also love to cuddle and roll over for belly rubs and hugs.

I am house trained and very obedient. I've had training and know sit,shake, down, roll over, paw and other commands, and I'm so smart and eager to please, I could learn anything you want me too.

I get along with kids, other dogs and I love people, so I would make a terrific addition to a variety of active families with a fenced in yard.

If you are looking for a terrific dog and have time and TLC to give please check me out. I'm awesome.

 

We are at the Utica PetSmart each Saturday from 11 to 3.

The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization.

I will try to be at the Utica PetSmart Adoption Center on Hall Road, east of Van Dyke when we are there. Email or call if you are making a trip and we'll try to make sure I'm at the store. Maybe we could set up a special appointment for you to meet me!

We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.

 

Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.

 

Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
