Description:

My name is Finn and I'm a very happy 2 y/o Lab/Shar Pei Mix, lucky to be alive and well and forever thankful to the people who thought I was worth saving.

I was starving, my eyes were so swollen and painful from turned in eyelashes and my skin was in such bad shape, I had to have my hair shaved. It's a miracle anyone even looked at me. BUT here I am. My eyes are fixed, my hair is growing in and you can see how nice my manly figure is.

My foster says I'm the happiest dog she's ever had. I'm great in the house, no accidents. I get along with everybody. I'm loveable, huggable and will lean into anyone who cares to share some affection with me. I'm also a talker so you'll never be lonely.

If you are looking for a great companion, have a fenced yard and kids over 5, you should come and see me. We'll sit down and chat awhile or we can walk, run or just be together. I'm happy just to be with people.

We are at the Utica PetSmart each Saturday from 11 to 3.

The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization.

I will try to be at the Utica PetSmart Adoption Center on Hall Road, east of Van Dyke when we are there. Email or call if you are making a trip and we'll try to make sure I'm at the store. Maybe we could set up a special appointment for you to meet me!

We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.

 

Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.

 

Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
