My name is Hershey and I am a friendly, soft and snuggly 2 y/o Chocolate Lab mix who will melt you heart with my sweet, loving ways. I am very smart and eager to please and I like to be around people. I get along with other dogs and everyone says how nice I am. I would love to find a family who could spend time with me. Then I could get belly rubs and kisses all the time instead of just at the adoption shows. I was found as a stray with my friend, Hildy, who's been adopted, and I'm lonely.I have to stay at the kennel by myself now because there are no fosters for me. It's a nice kennel but I wish I had my own home and family. If you are looking for sweet and unique, have a fenced yard and kids over 5 and want a forever friend, come and get me. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, NOT on a first come, first serve basis.
********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
