My name is Buckle and I was found as a stray and rescued just in time. I was nothing but skin and bones about 4 y/o and on the road to nowhere. Look at me now.

I am a handsome, good natured, loving gentleman looking for my forever home.

I am a little fearful of some things, but am getting used to being loved and taken care off. I am on the road to a happier life. I just need to find the right family.

If you are looking for a Dashing Dachshund have a fenced yard and kids over 5 and have lots of TLC for me, come see about me. My foster mom things it's my turn to be someone's pampered precious pet.

The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization.

I will try to be at the Utica PetSmart Adoption Center on Hall Road, east of Van Dyke when we are there. Email or call if you are making a trip and we'll try to make sure I'm at the store. Maybe we could set up a special appointment for you to meet me!

Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, NOT on a first come, first serve basis.

We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.

 

Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.

 

Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
