My name is Kendall and I am a beautiful, extremely intelligent Basenji.

  My foster, and current BFF thinks I was dumped off in a field and left to fend for myself. Thank God he found me. I at least have a chance to find a new home, now.

  I am a very loving, loyal and affectionate dog as well as being smart and eager to please. I know many commands and am learning more each day. I am house broken and will let you know when I need to go out.  

I love to run and go in the car and go for long walks, but I need to be on a leash because my sense of exploring and adventure get the best of me and off I will go. I love my tummy rubbed and will lay for hours.    

My foster says I'm the best dog ever, but he works a lot and thinks I deserve to be in a home with a fenced yard to run and play in and a sunny window to sit by instead of being in a cage all day.   

I am looking for a home that has the time to train me and provide me with the intelligent stimulation that a Basenji needs.  I will need a fenced yard, kids over 10, and NO Cats or other Dogs.

Adoption Info
The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization.

I will try to be at the Utica PetSmart Adoption Center on Hall Road, east of Van Dyke when we are there. Email or call if you are making a trip and we'll try to make sure I'm at the store. Maybe we could set up a special appointment for you to meet me!

We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
