WidgetI am a totally unique 7 y/o Yorkie/Poo who ended up in rescue when I lost my mom and my dad couldn't take care of me. I was so matted when I was rescued that I had to be shaved and that's when they found that I didn't have one ear. I must have been mauled by another dog or animal as I have scars on my neck, too. However, the good news is that I can hear just fine and I don't have any health issues. I know I look like I'm having a bad hair day and slightly lopsided without my ear, but I am really too adorable for words. You'll just have to come and see me yourself. I get along with dogs and cats but would really like a home with no small children and someone who wants to love and pamper me. I would make a great lap dog. I think you should come and see me. I know you will be captivated by my endearing good lucks and my charm. The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization. ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
