BearHi, My name is Bear, and I bet you can guess why. I look just like a cute, cuddly little Teddy bear. I'm a tiny poodle mix about 9 y/o and 5 pounds. I was given up along with my mom, Adriane for whatever reason. Go figure. I didn't have any say in the matter so I have to move on and hope I find a new forever home. I'm sweet and active and love people. I'm potty trained and am easy to care for. I will need a soft diet because I don't have any teeth. No one bothered to take care of them. I am healthy and fun to have around. I tend to be a bit bossy, especially around my mom. But kids are like that. I would like to have a forever home, with my mom if possible. No kids under 8, please. If you think I might fit into your heart and home, come check me. Then you can have your own special Teddy Bear all the time. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, NOT on a first come, first serve basis.
********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
