Baby ShaniaMy name is Shania, you know like the really famous country singer only I am soooo much cuter. Anyway, I am an Australian Shepherd/Bernese Mountain Puppy about 10 weeks old (1-20-11) fluffy as a powder puff and way beyond cute. I am also a country girl. I was brought up from Tennessee with my brother Darius. Things are so bad down south that we were brought up north with the hope that someone would want to give us a home. My foster mom says I am such well adjusted, fat and jolly girl with a great temperament and an unlimited love of people. I will entertain you for hours with my puppy happy dance and joyful antics. I am doing GREAT on my house training, get along with other dogs and cats. I'm used to living with a houseful of kids, although I like the older ones better (7 & up). I am looking for an active home with no long periods of time alone and a family that loves dogs as much as I love people. Check me out. We could make beautiful music together. ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
