I am a very precious, lucky and courageous Bloodhound mix about 1 y/o. I was found starving and freezing with one small puppy by my side that I somehow managed to save.

I'm very shy, and sweet and in need of lots of TLC. I am calm and good with people and other dogs. However, I do need to be fed separately as I am very protective of my food. I wonder why.

I am crate and house trained and will make a great addition to a variety of family with a fenced yard. After fighting for survival for me and my baby, I will make a loyal companion to a family that will take care of me for a change.


Adoption Info
The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization.

Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, NOT on a first come, first serve basis.

We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.

 

Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.

 

Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.

 

MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
