AndyMy name is Awesome Andy and I'm a very happy, fun, playful 1 1/2 y/o smaller Australian Shepherd/Pointer mix eagerly awaiting my new forever home. I am a very handsome loveable guy, but some people pass me by because my eyes are a bit red from having cherry eye surgery. I see perfectly fine and have no lasting effects, just a little droop. What's a little droop among friends and family. I am a really good dog. I am smart and learn fast, am housetrained, funny, great company. I would make a great walking, running or agility partner for someone who likes to be active. I also love belly rubs, car rides and snuggles. If you are looking for a great companion, check me out. Don't pass me by. You'll be missing the best friend ever. The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization. ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
