Hope

I am a beautiful precious gift called Hope. That's my name. That's what I had when times were tough, that's what I have now, and that's what I bring to you.

I am a beautiful, sweet, well mannered Lhasa Apso Mix between 6-8 y/o. I lost a lot of teeth so my tongue hangs out and I have dry eye because of neglect, but I am the cutest, spunkiest little girl ever. I run and jump on the bed and bark with the other dogs. I love to go for car rides and walks. I like to be around my people, but I'm not a pest. You can take me anywhere. I'm very smart and curious and obey commands. I'm house trained and love to sleep on the bed. I don't make messes and have a healthy appetite for food, fun and family. I am the perfect companion.

I was sitting at the shelter one hot miserable day, tired, dirty, tangled, scared. My time was up for release, but no one was looking at a filthy mess like me. But I still had hope. so I feebly wagged my tail at the rescue angel, but she passed me by. There were younger, cleaner, prettier dogs to save. That's okay.they deserve life, too. So I laid back down.

Not too long after that, my cage door open and I thought "Oh no. This is it. Bye. Bye world." But NO. IT'S THE RESCUE ANGEL. IT'S A MIRACLE. SHE'S HERE FOR ME. She had come to take me to the vet, so I wouldn't suffer anymore, but she saw the life in my eyes and called me HOPE. She took me to the vet, had me cleaned up, fixed up and fine tuned, then found me a foster. When she was done with this costly makeover, she found I had a sparkle in my eyes a dance in my step and a wag in my tail.

I am hoping for a forever home and family to fill with light and share my love and hope with. Miracles do happen when you have HOPE. So come and get me.

I am so easy to take care of but I will need to have special eye drops twice a day and soft food for the rest of my life. No big deal. I love you.

HOPE
