TootsieHi!! My name is Tootsie and I'm a little scared right now. You see, I have to start a new life. Because of health issues, my parents had to give me up because they felt they could not take care of me the way I deserve to be taken care of. I know they loved me, that's why it's so hard. I'm very lonesome right now, but I'm a good girl and getting used to my foster family. But, I would really like to find a new forever home and be a pampered little princess again. I'm a super cute, soft and fluffy 1 1/2 y/o sweet, and well trained Mini Schnauzer. I'm very skittish and nervous right now as my whole life has changed. I will need some TLC and time to get used to all the changes. I'm crate trained and house trained. I love to go for walks and car rides. I don't bark much or make messes. I'm looking for a home with someone who has the time and energy to show me life can be fun and not so scary. No small children please. ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
