Baby AlI'm a very handsome 3 month old black lab mix. I come from a very large family with a rough start. Some of my brothers and sisters didn't make it, and it was a pretty close call for me. I got hurt when I was a few weeks old and no one took me to the vet. I have a few scars on my back, but my beautiful fluffy coat is starting to cover them, and there will be no lasting effects. At first, being hurt made me very shy and too afraid to even play with my siblings because it hurt so bad, but not anymore. I love to play and be in the middle of everything. I'm still a little shy at first and very sweet, but I've learned how to be a puppy. I would do well in a variety of homes, but I will need a fenced yard. I'm working on my potty training and doing pretty good except when I get side tracked on my way outside. I get along with other dogs and think I would love kids. Most of my family has been adopted and I sure would like to find a forever home, too. Please pick me. I love you. The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization. ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
