Description:
James is a sweetheart with a capital S who adores his people, is very curious and likes other dogs. He came into rescue with his brother Jesse (also available foe adoption) because of family medical reasons. He's good with dogs and likes kids but absolutely no cats. He loves leash walking and exploring in the back yard. Hes super smart and doing great on house training and recall. He is an escape artist and will need a fenced yard. However, he will go up to first person and jump in their arms or car. Endearing him to all. He adores lots of love and belly rubs, people and attention so no long periods of time alone . James can be adopted with his brother, but not necessary. However, they get along great and keep each other comppany. He is an absolute joy. Sleeps through the night in his crate or on the bed with his head tucked in your neck and softly snores in your ear. He will steal your heart. He will need training to guide him to be the best possible dog. Come see him at Petsmart, Utica most Saturdays from 12-200 pm.
********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
